Personal Bio:

Rut Beltran, originally from Sinaloa, Mexico, is a dedicated Multicultural Advisor at BYU. She graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and later pursued a Master of Public Administration, driven by her passion for advocating for underrepresented communities and their access to more educational opportunities. She firmly believes in the transformative power of education, seeing it as the key to unlocking life's opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds. As a firm believer in the potential of every individual as children of God, Rut is motivated by her desire to create positive change and foster an inclusive environment where all students can succeed and achieve their goals and dreams. In her role as a Multicultural Advisor, Rut strives to support and uplift students, providing them with the resources and guidance they need to thrive. Outside of her work, Rut loves reading and watching K-dramas with her family.
