Personal Bio:
I am a proud native of Chicago. I attended Maria Sklodowska Curie high school, there I majored in Drama. I attended Utah Valley University (UVU) for my Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology and attended Kansas State University for my Masters of Science in Academic Advising. My final project focused on working with underrepresented and non-traditional students.
Before joining Multicultural Student Services, I was employed at Utah Valley University (UVU) as a Career Counselor in the Career Development Center and Adjunct Faculty in Literacies & Composition. Before that, I was employed at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) as the TRIO STEM Advisor. I was also employed with the School Relations office (currently the Admissions Office) as an advisor to first semester students and the Ambassador program. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and with Diversity and Inclusion, as well as sitting on multiple committees to effect change and inclusion.
