My name is Chantelle Whitney and I am from Long Island, New York. I am in the pre-business program right now at BYU. I am half Black and half Filipina. My dad was born and raised in New York and my mom is from Davao City, Philippines. I have 3 older sisters and one younger brother. My favorite thing to do with my family is having jam sessions every time we’re together. I love music and everything about fashion. Thrift shopping is top tier. I served in the California Oakland-San Francisco Mission, mainly in the Oakland Temple Visitors’ Center and I loved it! Working at the MSS office has been so fun and has given me the opportunity to grow my family here at BYU. I look forward to work every day because everyone here is so welcoming.
