Meet Alan, a BYU student from New Jersey who discovered a critical need among Hispanic families while volunteering in a local public school as a translator. Through this experience, Alan developed a deep passion for using AI to help people communicate across language barriers. Alan is a junior in the Applied Computational Mathematics (ACME) program, where he is actively researching innovative AI technologies.
