What is Chingu Chat?

Chingu in Korean means “friend,” and that’s exactly what this space is about. Chingu Chat is a welcoming community for women at BYU to connect, make friends, and have real conversations about the things that matter to you. It’s a space to be yourself, feel supported, and build genuine connections as you navigate school, life, and divine identity.

We meet once a month, and the conversations are student-led, creating space for shared experiences, honest dialogue, and meaningful connection in a relaxed, no-pressure environment—plus tasty refreshments on us.

Real talk by you, community with each other, and a reminder that life is better with a chingu by your side.
