Personal Bio:
I was born in Thailand, but my ethnicity is Karenni from Myanmar. I am the second-oldest child. I have two sisters and one brother. I speak seven languages, including Karenni, Karen, Burmese, Cantonese, English, some Thai, and American Sign Language. My passion is to make education accessible to all people. I believe education can transform lives, society, and the world.
In 2022, I won two Peace Awards from Brandeis University, which enabled me to implement peacebuilding projects that empower refugees and internally displaced people in Thailand economically. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and a minor in Sociology from BYU-I and hold Master’s degrees in Conflict Resolution and Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University. I worked as a Graduate Admission Assistant while pursuing my Master degrees.
I was a dual credit coordinator for two years, helping high school students navigate the higher education system. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, exploring new places, or simply relaxing at home and watching Korean dramas.
