Personal Bio:
I was born a BYU baby but grew up in Southern California. I am the oldest of three girls and was raised by two extremely supportive parents. I am an enrolled member of the Juañeno Band of Mission Indians Acjachemen Nation (Orange County, CA), and I also celebrate my Mexican-American and Scottish backgrounds.
I was blessed to come to BYU where I completed my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Anthropology. I loved my time at BYU as I participated in the cultural events and danced in Living Legends. I then went on to earn my Masters Degree at the University of Utah in School Counseling. Before joining the MSS Office, I was a school counselor at several high schools.
In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and family, reading a good book or watching a Korean drama. You will always find me listening to music and am always up for new suggestions! I am excited to serve my students here at the MSS Office in all of their endeavors and to be one of their greatest supports.
